I was born into this world through a mother who gave me birth out of her own intentions for my life. She possessed them long before she knew my father. Those intentions were not her own. They too, had been delivered to her by her mother and father. That generational intention might be traced backward for several generations. I know what it is to be expected of and to be unable to deliver to the level of those expectations. I have deeply experienced the feelings of perceiving myself to be “not good enough” to make my mother proud of me … “not worthy” of her love and approval … and “incapable” of rising to the greatness of her vision for my life. Much of this subconscious content followed me through a significant part of my journey.

I know what it is to feel all alone, misunderstood, alienated, and ostracized for the differences of my emerging individuality and beliefs. I know what it is to abandon passion, mission, purpose, and to seek, in futility, their replacements. I have experienced material wealth, overindulgence, perceived success, gross emotional fallings-apart, elation, depression, ideations unworthy of mention, and the loss of everything, including personal liberty.

I have been on the receiving end of fame, of hate, of adoration, and defamation. I know what it is to be attacked, to be supported, to be lied about, exaggerated about, belittled and abused. I have experienced life in its fullest accounting of itself. I have tasted it all, and it has all delivered me to the place where I now stand … a place of service, compassion, love, and the total absence of a judgement reflex.

I believe in YOU … why? Because I have also experienced the most profound of all treasures that life has to offer … restoration … arrival at destination … and the reflection of the journey, which in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, presented the illumination of the reason for everything.

Wherever you are in your journey, whoever you perceived yourself to be in this moment, you are an amazing being. There is something within you that is of the texture of magnificence and great beauty. No matter what you have done, what you may have become identified with in the past, no matter how young or old you may believe yourself to be, there is a power within you that seeks to express itself through you. It calls to you … it beckons you … it draws you into itself and never leaves you alone.

That power within you is greater than anything in the world around you, and it will begin to emerge through you, as your very life … when you begin to think, feel and act in alignment with it. This power will clothe you, guide you, protect you, lead you, comfort you, and sustain your very existence … if you let it. I see this in each one of you, and I love you … I do … and there is nothing you can do about that. You can’t change it. You don’t have that power … it is the essence of who I am … and that’s what I know for sure.
